Last Day of Keeper Season

Today was the last day of the keeper season, and the Livesay’s really put a hurting on them during their half day morning trip. We hit the water early to catch the morning bite and avoid the crowds and it was worth it. By 10:30, we caught about 50 fish. Some of them were on live bait but about a 3rd of them we caught on artificials. I was marking thick schools of fish all up and down the river. Little 6 year old Woody Livesay caught 20 by himself. He even caught one that was in the slot (over 22″). He really mastered the technique. If you want to see some spectacular striper fishing, give me a call to book a charter this month. The fish will be around till about the end of the month. Spawning activity has already started but has not yet peaked. Come have some triple digit striper days on artificials, flies, and topwater. It doesn’t get any better than this!!
