If there is any doubt that the drum haven’t arrived, they have! We released 8 yesterday evening and could have caught more if we fished longer in the afternoon. This is a good sign for the coming weeks. Come get in on one of the finest fisheries on the East Coast. These are the large adult spawning class of “old” drum and the biggest and oldest drum within their geographic range. They spend most of the year in the ocean and come into North Carolina’s estuaries for their annual spawning migration in the late summer and early fall. Call now to book a charter.
