More pics from the other day

These are from my trip the other day with Gary Hurley of the Fisherman’s Post and Ryan White of Hatteras Jack Tackle Shop in Rodanthe. We had a great time in some sketchy weather. We caught a handful of houndfish, which put on a great show on light tackle. We have been catching them on just about every outing right along with the drum. They make great fun by jumping just like a blue marlin hence the nickname “marsh marlins”. I think they are actually Atlantic Needlefish and I think there is a subtle difference but it’s more fun to call them hounddoggers.
