Wiley and Joe had fun catching these speckled trout on Sunday. We had a little flounder as a kicker. The fish were all smaller specs with the keepers eluding us today. They were good sports and really had a good time reeling in some speckled trout. Joe especially liked hunting for crab pots in the marsh. We were able to find some that were intact, so I promise to have some fresh crabs ready for them the next time they come down. This is great fishing for kids. If your child is old enough to proficiently cast a spinning rod, this is a great way to get them outdoors and experience our coast.
