Had my dad and Lorenzo Carmen from Tarboro on the boat today, and we stayed busy all day. When the smoke cleared we had our limit in the cooler for a little and had released well over 100 stripers. The action was so fast and furious that I lost count after about 20. A chartruese paddle tail with 1/2oz. jig head was the ticket today with the water being a little churned up from the wind coming in off the sound. They seemed to prefer a steady jigging presentation, and they would hit it on the fall. THIS IS SOME AWESOME LIGHT TACKLE FISHING! and ROCKFISH STEW TONIGHT FOR DINNER. Give me a call at (252) 945-9715 to book a trip!
