Had Jay Carter, Bill Nolan, Bob Iwaoka and each of their sons out on the river today in a 2 boat line-up. Between the two of us, we ended up with a good catch and plenty of meat for the cooler. They should enjoy some fresh rockfish for supper tonight. Fishing conditions in the morning were tough, but we persisted and managed to pattern them in the afternoon. The weather was gorgeous and everyone had fun. I’ve heard reports of good numbers of fish out in the sound.
