The fishing in Weldon has been some of the best I’ve ever seen…lots of big fish around, too. 2 days ago, we probably caught 150 on jigs alone. Yesterday, we hammered out 100 on the morning trip and at least that during the afternoon. The Livesays decided to head in a little early because they were actually physically tired of catching fish. That’s some good fishing. We did land the biggest fish of the season yesterday morning. Little 10-year-old Gracie Davis caught this nice 38″ fish, which weighed in at around 22 pounds. We are fully booked up for the rest of the season but give us a call anyway and we’ll get you out on the water with a great guide.
