I fished my first day in Weldon today for this year’s spring season and it seemed just like the good old days when all you had to do was just drop a bait (any bait) in the water to catch a fish. We caught ALOT of fish today on both live bait and soft plastics. When the 1/2 day trips are running into the triple digits, you know it’s like it should be. Ron and crew had a bunch of fun this morning, and Dave and his two sons had a great introduction to Roanoke River striper fishing this afternoon.
