I have to give credit to Whitey. He was mighty outnumbered today with Six “Sixth” Grade boys on the boats. Capt. Scott helped me. Whitey, Scott, and I were doing our part to get these boys, who are already great fishermen, on the water catching some stripers. Everybody caught something, and we all sure had a blast. If we don’t get these boys out on the water interested in fishing and other outdoor activities, who is going to be the future stewards of our estuary and our outdoor resources? If kids aren’t exposed to this, then they sure won’t care anything about protecting it…..something to think about!
