Mark and Coach Ruffin McNeill or “Coach Ruff” came striper fishing with me today. They were both a delight to have on the boat. Coach Ruff was in town spending some time on his boat, “Time Out”, at McCotter’s Marina, which is Mark’s business. Ruff has enjoyed spending time on the Pamlico River on his boat, but had never experienced any of our fishing. He caught his first striper today, and it was a nice one. I don’t keep up with sports too much and I’m not a genius sports guy; but I do have to say that if ECU let this guy go, they will never be able to get it together. What a fine person! The players and fans at Virginia are lucky to have him.
